Uptown Girl

The girl who is full of attitude, sophisticated and comes from a wealthy family, well this is the first impression of an uptown girl which comes in mind of general middle-class people.

Well, it’s true. She is mean, self-centered and sometimes can be snobby. She is used to the comforts and luxuries of her life. She doesn’t care about others and lives in her own rich world. She doesn’t like to mingle with people who are below her standard.

It’s their this high-profile lifestyle which has compelled many to write on them. Many poems and stories have been written about their lives. The famous song ‘Uptown Girl’ sung and written by Billy Joel became super hit the during 1980’s.
