Over 300 people crowded the lobby of telecommunications company Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN) in South Jakarta at 8.30 am on Friday.
They stared intently at a giant LED screen showing a live broadcast of a SpaceX Falcon 9 space rocket located over 17,400 kilometres away at the Cape Canaveral in Florida, the United States.
