As part of the PHOTO 2021 festival, hundreds of amateur photographers submitted self-portraits, now displayed in Federation Square, responding to the festival's theme of 'truth'. Initiated by French street artist JR in 2011, Inside Out is the world's largest participatory art project, having attracted more than 250,000 participants in 129 countries.
