Cahill Expressway to be closed for seven-day New Year’s Eve party

The maligned stretch of road that cuts Sydney city and Circular Quay in two - and recently labelled an “eyesore” by NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet - will be opened up for foot traffic for a week-long party between December 31 and January 6.
