Ruined

Ruins have always fascinated the mankind. In history, there are many ruined villages and cities that are famous with tourists. Every year lakhs of tourists visit these places and find the desolate emptiness existing there fascinating.

Ruins are places where an observer can gets immersed in thoughts and imaginations. The very sight of these places fills the observer with sorrow, doubt, confusion, and many emotions at the same time.

Artists and painters especially find a unique beauty in these abandoned and forgotten places in the world. Their fascination with these places has never waned. They let their imaginations run wild in these mystical ruins.

One reason why People find these places interesting is because of the silence, emptiness and the feeling of ghostly presence that makes them more attracted towards these places.

Here I have sketched a broken door of a dilapidated house. The condition of the house says it all. I have used pen and watercolors for this sketch.
