Peacock symbolizes grace, pride, and beauty. They are a sign of joy for all who see them. Peacocks are often used in Indian mythology and folk stories. In 1963, the peacock was declared the national bird of India because of its rich religious and legendary involvement in India.

Goddess Saraswati usually is seen riding a swan but the peacock is also her vahana (vehicle). The peacock represents arrogance and pride over its beauty. Lord Krishna is always represented wearing a peacock feather in his crown.

This glamorous bird has been repeatedly used as a popular art motif. Due to its close proximity to humans for thousands of years, the peacock is featured in ancient Indian stories of beauty and pose.

This peacock painting is made on canvas with acrylic colors.
Dimensions: 22.86 cm × 30.48 cm (9×12 In)

Thanks and have a good day
