China sent team including medical experts to advise on North Korean leader Kim Jong Un: Sources
BEIJING/SEOUL - China has dispatched a team to North Korea including medical experts to advise on North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, according to three people familiar with the situation.
The trip by the Chinese doctors and officials comes amid conflicting reports about the health of the North Korean leader.
Reuters was unable to immediately determine what the trip by the Chinese team signalled in terms of Kim's health.
A delegation led by a senior member of the Chinese Communist Party's International Liaison Department left Beijing for North Korea on Thursday, two of the people said.
The department is the main Chinese body dealing with neighbouring North Korea.
The sources declined to be identified given the sensitivity of the matter. The Liaison Department could not be reached by Reuters for comment late on Friday.
China's foreign ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment late on Friday.
Daily NK, a Seoul-based website, reported earlier this week that Kim was recovering after undergoing a cardiovascular procedure on April 12. It cited one unnamed source in North Korea.

New on Sports Illustrated: NFL Rumors: Vikings' Possible Trade for Trent Williams 'Off the Table' Following Second-Round Pick
Check out the latest news and rumors from around the NFL.
While the Vikings had extensive conversations with Washington about left tackle Trent Williams, a possible deal is now "off the table" following Minnesota's selection of Boise State offensive lineman Ezra Cleveland at No. 58 overall, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.
Per Rapoport, the teams had been talking for "months" about a potential deal.
Earlier this week, NFL Network reported that Washington had "talked to multiple teams," about a potential trade of left tackle Trent Williams.
Williams held out through the 2019 offseason and first half of last year's regular season before he was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list in early November. He has one year remaining on his current deal and would make $12.5 million in 2020.
Cleveland was a first-team All-Mountain West Conference as both a sophomore and a junior. He started 13 games at his left tackle spot in his final season with the Broncos.
Check out the latest NFL news and rumors below:

New on Sports Illustrated: Ravens Select Ohio State RB J.K. Dobbins No. 55 in 2020 NFL Draft
Baltimore has added another dangerous weapon to its offense.
The Baltimore Ravens have selected Ohio State star running back J.K. Dobbins at No. 55 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Dobbins was among the best running backs in college football in 2019, finishing the year with second-team Associated Press All-American honors and winning the Big Ten Running Back of the Year award.
He was also a first-team all-conference selection and one of just three FBS running backs to rush for more than 2,000 yards. He led the nation with 21 rushing touchdowns and added two receiving touchdowns as well.
Dobbins joins the league's best rushing offense from 2019. Baltimore ran for nearly 3,200 yards as a team last season. Quarterback Lamar Jackson recorded a team-high 1,206 yards on the ground while running back Mark Ingram dashed opposing defenses for 1,018 yards. Reserve running back Gus Edwards also added more than 700 rushing yards.
Baltimore finished 2019 with a 14-2 record which was good enough for the AFC's No. 1 seed. But the Ravens fell in the divisional round of the postseason.

New on Sports Illustrated: Colts Trade Up to No. 41, Draft Wisconsin Star RB Jonathan Taylor
Jonathan Taylor was one of college football's top running backs in each of his three collegiate seasons.
The Indianapolis Colts traded up to the No. 41 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft to select Wisconsin star running back Jonathan Taylor.
The Browns received the No. 44 and No. 160 pick in the deal with Indianapolis. Cleveland used the No. 44 pick to select LSU safety Grant Delpit.
As a freshman with the Badgers, Taylor almost immediately emerged as one of college football's premiere backs. He finished his career with 6,174 yards, which ranks No. 6 all-time in the FBS and is the most by a three-year player.
He was a three-time All-American, two-time unanimous first-team All-American and two-time Doak Walker Award winner, given to the nation's best collegiate running back.
Taylor further demonstrated his home run speed at the NFL combine when he ran a 4.39-second, 40-yard dash.
He was the Colts' second pick of the second-round. They selected USC wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. No. 34 overall.
The Colts finished with the seventh-most rushing yards in the NFL in 2019. Marlon Mack was the team's leading rusher, as he scampered for 1,091 yards.
Indianapolis finished 7-9 in 2019, which was third in the AFC South.

New on Sports Illustrated: Bill Belichick's Very Good Dog Makes Patriots' Second-Round Selection
It appears Bill Belichick is relying on his best friend for draft day advice.
We can't quite put our finger on it, but it seems like there's something...different about Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
A lot has changed in New England since the 2019 season came to an end—Tom Brady is now a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, and Rob Gronkowski has joined him. Some Pats fans are preparing for regression, while others probably think the team's winning ways will continue. But even the most open-minded of fans will probably take issue with New England's draft decisions being made by what is surely a very good (but likely under-qualified) dog.
Shortly after the Patriots made their second-round selection of safety Kyle Dugger from Lenoir-Rhyne University with the No. 37 pick, Belichick returned to the picture to give his dog, whose name is Nike, a well-deserved treat.
It's unclear whether Belichick or Nike made the ultimate call to draft Dugger, who won the 2019 Cliff Harris Award as the nation's best defensive player from a small school. SI's Draft Tracker gave the pick a C grade, so perhaps Nike should hone his craft a little longer before pursuing a front office position.

New on Sports Illustrated: Lions Draft Georgia Running Back D'Andre Swift No. 35 Overall
Georgia's star running back has come off the board early in the second round.
The Detroit Lions have added Georgia star running back D'Andre Swift after selecting him No. 35 in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Swift took home All-SEC honors in 2019 after rushing for 1,218 yards and averaging 6.2 yards a carry. For his career, he averaged 6.6 yards per carry.
The 5-foot-8, 212-pound Swift appeared to give his draft stock a boost during the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine as he ran an official 4.48-second 40-yard dash with a 35.5-inch vertical jump and 121.0-inch broad jump.
The Georgia product was considered to be among the top running back prospects in the 2020 draft, but he slide to the second round. LSU's Clyde Edwards-Helaire was the lone running back to be taken in the first round, with Edwards-Helaire not coming off the board until No. 32 overall to the Chiefs.
Detroit had a below-average rush offense in 2019. Kerryon Johnson was the team's leading rusher, but Johnson played in just eight games and finished with merely 403 rushing yards.
The Lions were just 3-12-1 last season and finished fourth in the NFC North.
