An outbreak of influenza at Trang Central Prison has infected 158 inmates, prompting provincial public health officials to check the situation and provide immediate help on Tuesday.
Dr Sinchai Rongdej, deputy chief of Trang public health office, led 20 medical staff from Trang Hospital and Mueang Trang public health office to perform medical checkups at the prison during the morning. The officials took several hours to check and diagnose the sick inmates.
