Portrait

Portraits are tricky and difficult to draw at times. Learning proportions of the face are the key that one has to practice. When it comes to making a portrait, we have to be careful that speed should never be the goal.

Blending and shading play a very important role when it comes to making a portrait. It’s just practice, practice and more practice that needs to hone the skill.

Here I have sketched a portrait of a boy who is immersed in his thoughts. I have completed this sketch by using mainly 2h and 2b pencils.

Thanks and have a nice day ahead.
